Studio Workshop
In the ‘Studio Workshop,’ I want to share the process of image making. It is the painterly action itself. The ‘becoming’ of the painting, step by step. From the first image, where we see a plywood piece with only some base drawings and general shadows, to the last image, where we see the painting in its complete form. Within this parade of images, we can witness the painting being painted, layer after layer, idea after idea. The process reels slowly and performs the spectacle, and the painting completes itself before our eyes.
Thus, through the documented painterly process, we may witness the stages of its artistic development. We may later trace the origin of each painted part within the fabric of the painting's complete production and have a heartfelt conversation about it as part of our emancipated spectatorship, our enlightened experience of art.
