Watercolors
Watercolors are an art form. They are bold images standing in their own right but also serve as preparation drawings for future artworks. As such, they are a world of painterly options originating from that unique visual idea. The artistic idea: A colorful phenomenon in shape and size, out of which an artwork could come to life and, one day, be fully completed.
Watercolors are also illustrations, representing creative ideas and literary thoughts. Abstract and complicated, they function as exotic maps of illuminated feelings. They are beautiful and colorful manifestations of all lively emotions and sensations. They are stories being told. They are brought to life in the eyes of the spectator through an abstract, visual narrative. They unfold and mold into meaning as we keep on looking. They, indeed, are a work of contemporary art.
